![]() ![]() Smash a particularly large string of spheres, and the little scarab that pushes them along will spin around in the ensuing shockwave. Each sphere is animated nicely, and there are clever touches everywhere. Stop them! Stop them all! What has changed is, well, now you can play Luxor on your iPad. Those ancient spheres are still rolling along, threatening your pyramid, and it's up to you to smash them to bits. If+You+Already+Know+What+Luxor+Is You've played Luxor before, in one form or another, so you know how the game works. ![]() Gather gems and complete stages to take your score into the millions. Like most games, it's all about the high score. I dare you to resist their sparkly beauty. Power-ups like Reverse, Speed Shot and Fireball appear when you score killer combos, and glittering jewels rain down, too. That's Luxor in a nutshell, but things get spicy along the way. Plan your shots well, watch your pacing, pay attention to the next marble in your firing rotation, and you'll prevent the scarabs' marbles from reaching your pyramid. Match three together and each connected sphere explodes, just like ancient times. As with Bejeweled or Zuma, the trick is to match the marble you're shooting with like-colored group of marbles. The player's job is to stop this deadly train of spherical death by shooting more colored marbles at it from a winged platform at the bottom of the screen. Colorful marbles roll down a screen, pushed steadily along by a scarab beetle. If+You've+Never+Heard+of+Luxor Luxor has been around nearly as long as the ancient pyramids (since 2005). ![]()
